Vacation at Los Cabos, Mexico

For Spring break, we enjoyed some time off from work and school. Luckily, our tax return allowed us to go somewhere exotic, and we set sail for Los Cabos, Mexico.
Los Cabos is located at the tip of the Californian peninsula: on the one side, there's the Sea of Cortez, and on the other the Pacific Ocean.
This is the view we had from our hotel room. As you can see, we were in an ideal location: a few feet from
the beach, next to the tasty ristorante Mama Mia where local music groups would perform in the evening, two outdoor jacuzzis, and a swimming pool!

There were cacti everywhere on the side of the road and at the entrance of the restaurants. Here Levi is posing in front of the Marina, or the harbor where we could board a Glass Bottom Boat Taxi that would take us to Playa de l'Amor or Lovers'Beach.

Here we are in our sexy lifejackets on the Glass Bottom Boat...the photo was taken by the "captain" himself.

This is the famous arch of Los Cabos, near Lovers'Beach. Through it you can see the junction between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. I think some segments of Pirates of the Carribean was filmed there.

We received free tickets to go snorkeling in Santa Maria's Bay. We boarded the Princessa at the Marina in Cabo San Lucas that took us to the bay and we got to see colorful fish and corals. Lunch was complementary after our swim and we were served tuna sandwiches with chips and to-die-for salsa and guacamole.

I'm so jealous! That looks so beautiful! Did Eve go with you or were you able to go with just the two of you? I hope you had a wonderful time!
