It is by far the strangest movie I have ever seen (and I have seen quite a few)! When the movie ended, my first thought was: "I can't believe someone actually produced such a movie!" I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so I am not going into details...but do not have any expectations or you'll sure be disappointed.
If you want to know that storyline, check it out on wikipedia:

We just returned from our summer vacation, and saw both Bridge to Terabithia and The Last Mimzy on the airplane. I thought The Last Mimzy was fine, although it got a bit preachy at times. The writers seemed to have some fun ideas, although they weren't implemented very well. I quite enjoyed the science teacher and his fiancee. Bridge to Terabithia, on the other hand, was lousy. I couldn't even stand to watch it through to the end. The "kids" playing make-believe were 13 years old, for crying out loud!
So I'm going to add to Aaron's comment about The Last Mimzy. The dumbest part of the whole movie was the end, when the talked about how the little girl's tear contained "instructions" on how to fix their race. Tears don't have DNA! Stupid.
