Secondly, since I am applying for graduate school, I had to take the GRE. I spent as much time preparing for this exam as I could as a mom and considering I was working part-time. If I am
smiling on the picture, it's because Levi took it right before I went to take it and I was feeling overly confident. Moreover, for those of you who don't know, it is an adaptive computer-based exam, which means that if you miss an answer if will change the level of difficulty, and if you do well, it will get progressively more challenging. Well, I felt that it was getting progressively more difficult so I assumed that I was doing pretty good. At the end, I was able to see my results on the verbal and quantitative parts, and I thought that they would add the scores of the written essays to those. It turns out that they come seperately! So I wasn't too happy when I found that out...I was mopping the entire weekend. I feel mediocre and I want to be excellent in what I do! Anyways, you can probably sense that I am still sensitive on this issue! Ok, moving on...Now for the good news! Our
friend Scott just got married and his wedding reception was nearby, so we had the chance to meet his lovely Korean wife. It was so great to see our friends from the French House (BYU Foreign Language Housing) and to catch up with them.
It was the highlight of our summer, by far! Afterwards, we moved our party to our apartmen to play a game of Settlers...topping it off with some Cadbury chocolate from England: perfect ending to a perfect day!N.B. I apologize for wearing flipflops at a wedding reception, but I am on a hopeles
s quest for nice dress shoes to fit my supersize feet!

So, wait . . . Levi took the GRE too, or the MCAT? I'm confused. The good thing about the GRE is that you can take it again! And hey, if you get into your program and don't have to take it again, then all the better.

No...I took the GRE and Levi has yet to take the MCAT (if he applies in the States). So far, the plan is to go back to England for Med School.
Well, it's also a matter of pride to me, I want to do better since I know I can do better, so I might retake in in 3-6 months.
