I hope you all enjoyed Eve's little video...we made it from clips we were able to take with our camera, so it's not top quality and we cannot record the sound, which explains why we put "Yellow" by Coldplay as a poor substitute of Eve's darling coo-ing sounds and first Frenglish words...
We are quite busy all the time...our days are so full that we don't realize that the summer is passing by so quickly. For those of you who don't know yet, we are both going to school at the moment. Levi is finishing his B.S. in Physiology & Developmental Biology and will be graduating in December. When Eve turned 1, I decided that I needed to complicate my life a bit more, so I started my Masters in French Studies. I always feel like I need to specify that I am specializing in French politics and culture rather than language, because I feel like people wonder about why I would get my masters in my native language out here in the States...is there a point? Well, I guess the point for me is to continue with my education since I have the privilege of living by BYU and of getting my masters for a relatively low price. My dream is to one day get my PhD at Oxford, England and teach French culture and language. The master's program at BYU can be done in one year and that really was the incentive to go for it so that I could graduate with Levi.
Yes, it has made life quite crazy for the three of us, but it has made it fuller. I feel that Heavenly Father has tremendously blessed us for it, and I feel like I appreciate the time I am home so much more. For the first semester, I would take Eve in class with me...it was a very small class (only 6 students including me) and the professor was very supportive of me. The following semester, Levi and I have been working around our schedules so that either one of us would always be home with Eve. I can't believe how patient and supportive Levi is! And after thinking about it, I think that it is very beneficial for Eve to spend as much time with her Dad as with me...especially since he will be going to Med school soon and won't be around as much!
That leads me to our next news: Levi is in the process of applying for Med schools back in England. We were thinking of staying in the States for PA school, but after much fasting and prayer, we had a very strong impression that we were to move back to Europe. We have bought our tickets and we're counting down the months left...I am not looking forward to our big yard sale: we'll be selling EVERYTHING except for clothes, books, and the essentials. Levi can only apply to 4 schools in England, but he just has 1 application to fill out online that will be sent to those 4 schools of his choice. So far, we're thinking of Oxford, Warwick, Bristol, and...we don't know yet what our last choice will be. He will be taking the UK CAT this Saturday and his score will probably help us make that choice.

I love the little video of Eve. She is the cutest little girl. I'm sure gonna miss you guys when you leave. I can't imagine having to visit teach with anyone else...it just seems like it's always been this way. Thanks again for your help and support on Saturday. You are awesome. :)
Where are you guys at in the picture? I wanted to get you my blog address.
