I know you're all dying to hear some news...

It always seems that October and November simply fly by...we are probably making up for our slacking the rest of the year.

We are in the process of selling our furniture and belongings, everything we won't be taking to England with us. We barely sold our TV and DVD player, as well as our couch and apple mac computer. We are relieved to have sold our appartment contract for January and we have been going through our closets to decide what will make the cut, stuffing 4 suitcases. We might have to ship our books to avoid problems at the luggage check-in desk (as I have numerous times before!).

I guess it's time for me to announced our great news: I am currently 12 weeks pregnant, almost done with the first trimester. This time around, it hasn't been as difficult as when I was pregnant with Eve. It also seems to go a lot faster. I have started knitting and plan on learning how to crochet in order to make some handmade blankets and clothes for our new baby. I have a feeling that it may be a boy, so we've been jotting down a couple of names, since it always seems to be harder to decide on a boy's name than on a girl's. We hope to have the same experience as with Eve: one day, the name just came to us and we immediately agreed that it would be our firstborn's name. We will be able to have our first ultrasound right before we leave.

I just want to finish by saying how I am excited for Christmas: I've been listening to Christmas music ever since Halloween, and I have already taken out the clear Christmas light to create a calm and peaceful environment at home. I think of the words: "I'll be home for Christmas..." and I picture our family strolling in the streets of Paris all lit up with shop's windows displaying colorful decorations.

Nooo...I am so sad that you guys are moving. I have so enjoyed getting to know you Anabelle, you are such a great example to me in so many ways.

Also, congrats about the baby. And thanks for the Christmas imagery, very nice.

Anabelle, well it sure does seem like time has flown since our days in Glenwood. I'm so excited for you and all the changes going on in your life! Especially with baby #2 on the way. Good luck with everything. I'll continue to check your blog and maybe someday when we make it back to Europe we'll catch up!
Love,
Caroline
