This Saturday, my "ward family" organized a baby shower in honor of Sophie. I told my friends that I'd rather they would not bring presents, but that we turned it into a girls' get together: of course no one listened ( Laura called it "selective hearing") and Sophie now has her entire summer wardrobe provided for: Thank you so much ladies!
I brought my camera and meant to take pictures of everyone there, but I completely forgot to pull it out and I am still kicking myself for it! This is the first day I could consecrate myself to celebrate my being pregnant and the soon-to-be Sophie. Sad, huh?
I planned on having those party favors ready for the party, but as hard as I tried I could not get all of the supply in time. So they turned out as a token of gratitude. Seriously, if you had to choose between a "thank-you" card and a sachet of chocolates and mints, which would you pick? I thought so.

I am so sad I missed it too!! I wish I could have been there. You should have told me about it and then I could have mailed you something. I love making things for little girls.
