I apologize to our devoted fans and readers for the lack of news: the moms will understand that our lives have dramatically changed now that we have Sophie. We are still transitioning from having 1 child to having 2: Eve is very loving towards Sophie, but she is having a hard time with the fact that we are giving her less attention than before, so she manages to get it anyways by getting negative attention: today, for example, she somehow transferred water from the toilet to our bathroom floor. When we asked her why she did it, she simply replied: "I did something naughty." We are acquiring a fair share of patience and learning discipline skills.
Sophie is such a lovely and calm baby: every time I hold her or feed her, I can't help but smile and thank God for sending her our way. She is now smiling back at us and recognizes me when I lean over her.
We are blessed to have my Mum visiting from France for the Summer. She arrived 3 weeks after Sophie's birth and is staying until the end of August: needless to say, it has been really nice to have her extra hands to help with housework and taking care of the children. In order for her to enjoy her stay, we've taken her bowling, dancing, swimming, etc. I'll post more pictures once I find our camera cable to upload those.

How nice to have your mom there to help out! I bet she is loving the time with her two adorable granddaughters. By the way, I believe Rose has the same skirt/skort that Eve is wearing in that picture. :)
