Not Another Post About Running!

A couple weeks ago, I started running with my friend Rachel, and it made the experience so much more enjoyable. Every time I don't feel like running, I am motivated by the thought that I don't want to let her down.

We have been running 2 miles every other day and we just increased our distance to 3 miles. As painful as it is, it feels SO good afterwards...and after a good shower.

We are going to sign up for a 5K soon, so I'll keep you posted...and FYI this is NOT a picture of me, that is, not yet!

It is so empowering to start the day with a good run (as lousy as it feels DURING the run), especially after having a baby. So if you're thinking about running, the key is to find a partner!

I sometimes wish I could be a good runner. Good job at keeping it up so much, that's really impressive! Maybe I just need to find someone to run with and I could learn to enjoy it. I'd better find someone who can only go 1/2 mile, though, or it will be frustrating for them to start with me! ;0) Bon travail!!
