Friends for all seasons

Last night, Jacob and Lucas came to play with Eve. I have this concept that whenever we have friends over, I want them to have a blast and to make sure that they want to come back. So I made pizza and they had popsicles for dessert. Then, we made sugar cookies which they cut out and decorated...they were so excited to make all the Halloween shapes (courtesy of Rachel). When they were done, they ran around the house screaming and chasing each other...finally they watched Wallace & Gromit and played on the couch. Eve's been playing with Jacob quite a bit and they get along great...I wish they could grow up together, go to school together...

Today, we were thrilled to see Jen and her girls, visiting from Idaho...we had hotdogs (thanks to the beautiful weather we had) and cookies. We had planned on going to Pumpkinland with the kids afterwards, but when we got there, we found out that it wasn't open yet, so we opted for a day at the park...which ended quickly for us as Eve wet her pants and I did not pack extra clothes for her.
We got home to a hairless dad: Levi was in the process of buzzing his hair, despite my countless reminders that I really do not "fancy" that...I told him that it was a good thing that he had a month to grow it back before his permanent residency interview and his first medical school interview! At least I caught him before it got too short, whew!

I love the picture of the three of them on the couch! They look like they had a blast! Let me know when you and Levi want to go out. :)

Anabelle!! I'm so glad I've found your blog again! It is so good to read a bit about your life. I can't believe you have another beautiful baby!! Your children are absolutely gorgeous. And you are, of course, so beautiful.

My husband and I are living in California now for residency after almost two years in Pennsylvania. It's nice to be back west, but we miss a lot of things about the east.

If you want to check out our blog, it's tylerandbecca.blogspot.com

bisous!!
