Great News

Today, Levi got approval for his Green Card, which means he can legally reside in the United States! Yay! It took us 10 months, but the wait is over. Levi & I had to go to the USCIS (Immigration) office in Salt Lake at 7:30 AM, and our friend (and Levi's American Mom) graciously invited us to stay the night before in their house, located 15 min away from the office. She also watched Eve and Sophie as no children are allowed during the interview. We were lucky to have our case reviewed by a very kind officer who checked our information and gave us her blessing. Now, Levi is able to apply for US Citizenship 3 years from now.

When my girls start dating seriously, I'll make sure they stay away from foreign students to avoid all the headache of paperwork filing, administrative fees, and nerve-racking waiting periods!

OH MY GOSH THIS IS GREAT?!?!?! Is this the real deal, or is he still a conditional resident? That is amazing stuff - so so great. Congratulations. I know how much heartache and headache immigration can be, so HUURAY!!!

Congratulations! That was fast! Either that or Rosario just had to wait a super long time. It took us almost two years to get his green card. It is such a relief when that interview is done and you have the approval!

Yay!!! Sounds like everything came together perfectly in the end, especially on the days leading up to this.
