More pictures of our trip to England

We found the BEST park right by the Leas (seaside in Folkestone) with a pirate ship, a giant fort with slides and this swing that slides down a wire from side to side. The kids spent hours there having the time of their lives. The entire time, I thought: the person who designed this park must really love kids. I find England to be quite family-friendly and there are a lot of young parents - as opposed to Paris, where people wait until much later to have children and although the French are really good at providing a wide range of activities and good elementary education, life is still very expensive and that discourages people to have more than 1 or 2 kids.

We didn't swim in the English Channel: the water was freezing despite the heat. I probably would have had if I had not been 30-week pregnant: I've always dreamed of swimming across the Channel. We spent most our time at the beach collecting seashells and building sandcastles.

We shopped for kids clothes at Asda: clothes are so much cheaper than in France. We bought everything they might need for school and Levi worked on his food storage (mostly English crisps and Cadbury chocolate bars).

Waiting to load on the ferry. Eve and Sophie are such good sisters and are so affectionate. Here's also a glimpse at the baby bump at week 30.

The Ocean Inn - waiting for their order of pub-made Mac&cheese with beans. They still beg to go back for lunch and dinner.
