And we're off! First stop: Las Vegas!

It hailed the day we left! Go figure. Tying up our 12 suitcases in the bed of our rental truck.

Smooth riding

One last Cafe Rio

Thanks to Levi's sister who works for Virgin Atlantic Airlines, we got super cheap tickets from LV to London Gatwick. We rented a truck from Lehi to LV, flew to London and took the Eurostar to Paris.

Can you see Levi's crutch...he was still healing from a broken leg, an injury that happened during a soccer game back in January (so 4 months earlier)

It all went very smoothly until we had to get our luggage from the Gatwick Airport to the train platform. One majoy thing went wrong: the lift (or elevator) was broken and I was useless in my pregnant condition, except for tending the girls while Levi, his Dad and sister (who met us at the airport) carried 12 big bags/suitcases down 3 flights of stairs. Then we had to chuck the luggage into the train in under 1 minute before the doors shut. If it weren't for the cavalry (Levi's family) we would have missed our train to Paris.

Auntie Leefa knows just the right thing to keep 2 little girls going: chips, chocolate, and candy: she was a lifesaver.

Can you see Levi's exhaustion in that look?

She kept jumping up and down from the sugar rush :)
